That sort of things happen to me quite often, but this time, I ended up being puzzeled and had some feelings I had to deal with.

The program was about the Alzheimers disease; - and the graduate change family members face when that very person (could be a mom, or in this case a Dad) goes from the state of completely normality to having the condition.

More specifailly, it told about a "present" that this son chosed to give his dad the very last present (a trip across USA) and they took it weeks before the Altzheimer kicked in; - got sound clips from moments where the memory was completly clear, and moments where dad "basically had forgot everything".

The painful in that process is that the chance is not coming from one moment to an other, but that its a slow process. Both "the patient" and the relatives can very well identify the changes, - and (for the relatives) the result.

Experiences like that reminds of the fact that our life is limited and very much something that we cant take for granted. With that in mind, it also just confirm me in my personal goal: "The life-quality of the moment should always be the priority"....

We start again

with something that could form itself out to be really really interesting...

:)

To have appreciation for what we got..

To appreciate the part of our life that we have?!.
I am not talking about going down to a superficial or materialistic level, but about thinking of those small elements in each our life, that makes it all worth while!

For instance: our life: in my case, I have blessed this world with about 10.200 days of my presence, I know that one day, I wouldn't be here anylonger -yet I also know that my contribution (hopefully) have made the difference for, at least, a few people.
I also know that people that have passed my life have been contributing with loads of stuff; - and today, some of those is not here anylonger either!.
